This is a large robust serving board in solid oiled oak designed by Mats Herding Solberg for Øyo. It has a groove around the entire edge of one side, to help drain liquid from meat and other foods. Oak is a living material that naturally contains antibodies that counteract bacterial growth. Oak changes its character in relation to humidity and must be impregnated with oil if necessary.
