What are the costs for shipping and returns?

Fast delivery and a 14-day exchange policy. For international shipping the delivery time may vary.

Øyo customers receive free shipping on all orders over NOK 1500 in Norway. If you shop for less, it costs only NOK 99 to have a package sent in Norway. All international shipping, including Svalbard and Jan Mayen, is considered customs abroad and must therefore follow standard customs rules for export.

Remember to provide accurate delivery information to avoid the package being returned. In that case, you will need to pay for reshipping.

Unclaimed packages are returned to us after 7-14 days. We will charge you a fee of NOK 250 for packages within Norway, and NOK 500 for international shipping. The fee will be deducted from your refund.

When will my order be delivered?

Our packages are shipped with Posten/PostNord every day at 12 PM. On holidays or squeezed days, the package will be sent as soon as we are back at the factory. Most packages are sent with PostNord or Bring in Norway and DHL internationally. Smaller packages under 2 kg are sent as mailbox packages with Posten. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the delivery time of the postal service.

Packages for Christmas

Most packages and letters sent in Norway are delivered within 1-3 days, but just before Christmas, it's wise to order well in advance. Typically, it will be sufficient to order before mid-December. For more detailed deadlines, see posten.no.

How can I track my order?

After your order has been dispatched, you will receive an order confirmation via email. The order confirmation will include the total amount of your order and the tracking number for your package.

I have questions about my delivery, who do I contact?

As soon as Posten/PostNord/DHL has picked up your order from us, they are the ones who can answer all delivery-related questions. Have your tracking number ready and contact Posten/PostNord/DHL's customer service.

Do I have to pay VAT afterwards?

The prices of all our products include value-added tax and are charged in NOK upon delivery in Norway. For deliveries outside Norway, additional costs may apply.

I want to return my purchase. How do I do that?

No problem. If you want to return all or part of your order, exchange a product/color, want to cancel the purchase, or file a complaint about an item, you need to fill out the return form that was sent to you with your order confirmation or can be downloaded again here. Contact us at [email protected], and we will send you a return label. The return cost of 99 NOK will be deducted from your refund when we receive the products. For returns outside of Norway, you will be responsible for the shipping costs of the products.

You have a 14-day return policy.

The completed return form must accompany the return package.

The product must be unused and in its original packaging.

The return policy does not apply to engraved products.

Terms and Conditions

If you choose to shop with Klarna invoice, you should always receive what you ordered before making a payment. You also won't pay for incorrect or undelivered goods. It's simple, risk-free, and convenient. The invoice usually has a payment deadline of 30 days from when the goods are shipped to you. All the information you need to make the payment can be found on the invoice. If you are a business customer, delivery will only take place to the address registered in the company. The company must also be registered in the country where the purchase is made. Distance selling rules do not apply to corporate purchases.

Split the payment

When you choose to split the payment on an invoice or pay at your own pace, your purchases with Klarna are consolidated into one invoice. A consolidated monthly invoice means one payment, one KID number, and one administration fee of 45 kr. You can also choose to pay for your purchases over 3, 6, or 12 months, directly in the Klarna app or on Klarna's website.

Registration

To shop in Øyo's online store, you can register as a customer or shop as a guest. An account can be created under My Account or during your first purchase. Here, you can change your password, invoice, and delivery address.

Registration requires a valid email address. We deliver throughout Europe. For card and credit purchases, the person must be 18 years old according to the law.

When you shop, email and mobile number are mandatory.

Warranty

We manufacture all our products with the aim of maintaining high quality. No matter how well you take care of your product, it will still show signs of aging and wear. You can go a long way by sharpening and hand washing the products, read more under maintenance. Øyo's warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, not normal use and wear. For example, if the knife is washed in the dishwasher or used for anything other than food, the warranty is void. This means that the warranty does not cover damages caused by accidents, misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear. Damages can be repaired for a small fee. Contact us for an estimate.

Information in the online store

We strive to provide our customers with as accurate information about our products as possible. However, we reserve the right that typographical/printing errors may occur, which may mean that we cannot deliver according to the information provided in our online store, our marketing, or otherwise.
